Join us for an exciting Theatre Recruitment Day — a dynamic event filled with interactive workshops, live auditions, and fun! Whether you're an aspiring actor, technician, or just passionate about the stage, this is your chance to explore our program, connect with faculty and peers, and showcase your talent. Enjoy a variety of theatre-focused workshops, grab a bite from our concessions, and take center stage with on-site auditions for entry into our upcoming season or program. MEET:
ANIYAH ADEOSHUN
TROUPE VICE PRESIDENT
Aniyah Adeoshun is a graduating senior and the proud Vice President of The Sterling Players, where her dedication, leadership, and talent have left a lasting legacy. A two-time National Qualifier in monologue performance, Aniyah has consistently demonstrated her excellence on stage and in competition. Most recently, she was awarded Best Performer for her powerful portrayal of Lena "Mama" Younger in the Sterling Players’ UIL One Act Play production of A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry—an honor that reflects both her emotional depth and commanding presence.
Aniyah has grown within the Sterling Theatre Department, emerging as a respected leader and role model. Her passion for the craft, coupled with a relentless work ethic, has earned her a full-ride scholarship to Lamar University, where she will continue her artistic journey as a student in the Department of Theatre and Musical Theatre.
With a heart for storytelling and a voice for her generation, Aniyah Adeoshun is a rising star whose future in the arts is as bold and bright as her spirit.
